China's economic growth reached its lowest level in the second quarter of 2019, 6.2%, as the long-term US-long warfare shock continues with the second largest economy in the world (China).
GDP growth fell from 6.4% in the first quarter (according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday). Indeed, during the 2009 global financial crisis, GDP growth fell to below 6.4% in 2009.
China is targeting growth in the range of growth rates, and this year it is between 6% and 6.5%, and it is expected to go up.
The average forecast from the Bloomberg analyst survey was 6.2, but some were worse than anticipated with much concern about the trade war.
The data showed that the economy of the first half of this year grew by 6.3%.
