Asian stocks are in good shape Monday morning, as the US bond market no longer shows signs of an economic recession.

At the time of writing, the Nikkei Index of Japan rose 164 points or 0.80%, while shares in Australia and New Zealand rose 0.76% and 0.46%, respectively. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.33% and the Hang Seng Hong Kong rose 1.24%. In addition, the South Korean Kospi and S & P500 futures were up 0.45% each.

The US president, Trump, and White House officials said on Sunday that they were not in danger of stagnating much. "We're doing great, our consumers are wealthy, I've cut taxes very sharply, and they’re loaded up with the money" Trump said Sunday.
