The Australian Dollar rose Thursday on news that its homeland’s formidable job-creation machine continues to fire.
Employment rose dramatically to 41,000 in July, according to official data, while the unemployment rate remained stable at 5.2%.
The data for July is as follows:
Australian full-time employment changes in July are 34.5K versus 21.1K in the past.
Australia's part-time job changes in July were 6.7K versus -23.3K in the past.
The participation rate in July was 66.1% (versus the expected 66% and its past 66%).
AUDUSD certainly made gains on the release, powering up to a new session high.
