Asian stocks rose on Friday as the S&P500 registered a record, as well as White House announced that Beijing and Washington are close to a trade deal and will see the tariff war may near to an end.
However, analysts believe that weak economic data from China has raised concerns about global economic growth.
White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said on Thursday that a trade deal with China was close, thus boosting investor confidence.
The MSCI rose 0.67%.
Japan's Nikkei added 0.76%.
Australian stocks gained 0.8%.
China's blue chips shares rose 0.06% just after the start of trading.
